Job Description
C3 Presents creates music festival experiences for millions of fans across the globe, setting the new standard each year for events that are as memorable as they are spectacular, including Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, Lollapalooza in Chicago (and seven other countries), and Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee.

THE JOB

The Concessions Manager oversees key aspects of the food and beverage programs for the C3 portfolio of festivals. Primary responsibilities include data collection and analysis, concessionaire management, and operations support. The Concessions Manager also supports the food and beverage team in implementing strategies for achieving department goals. The position requires coordination with internal departments and third-party providers to ensure the food and beverage programs are executed successfully.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Data Analysis

Data analysis is the foundation for measuring performance and developing profit-driven strategies. The Concessions Manager is responsible for a range of data collecting, processing and reporting. This includes:
• Downloading data received from concessionaire reporting templates, point-of-sale systems and other sources, and creating a variety of reports on a timely basis
• Analyzing data in order to measure KPIs and forecast trends
• Communicating findings via informative and easy-to-understand charts and insightful commentary.

Concessionnaire Management

The Concessions Manager interacts with the third-party concessionaires in meaningful ways, including:
• Assisting with menu development
• Coordinating with the legal department to create and execute service agreements
• Reviewing settlement reports and reconciling them against POS reports
• Managing internal billbacks
• Facilitating communication between concessionaire and internal departments on non-revenue food and beverage needs
Operations

The Concessions Manager plays an active role in supporting the on-site activities of the food and beverage concessionaires, namely:
• Assist concessionaires in advancing operational needs via C3's advancement tools
• Participating in festival production meetings leading up to the event and providing concessionaires with essential planning documents
• Facilitate communication between concessionaires and festival operations teams to ensure required metrics are met for optimal food and beverage outcomes
• Review signage proofs and provide timely and critical feedback on accuracy, legibility and design
• Review POS menus, making sure they are properly set up for accurate reporting
• Attend festivals as needed to monitor concessions
Other

C3 is dedicated to innovation and exceeding customer expectations. The Concessions Manager is expected to assist in developing new ideas for food and beverage programs based on changing customer trends, emerging technologies and delivering profitability.

Additionally, the Concessions Manager will provide general support to the food and beverage team as needed.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Previous experience in food and beverage concessions
• Strong analytical skills with a solid mathematical foundation
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and payment processing
• Desire to be creative and think outside the box to maximize revenue
• Must be highly organized, deadline-driven and able to multi-task
• Ability to distill complex information into digestible formats
• Professional-level written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility in work hours and availability, especially during major projects and events; some holidays, weekends, and early morning/evening hours will apply
• Ability and desire to travel as needed

Bonus Skills:
• Proficiency in POS systems, preferably atVenu, Best Ring and Billfold.
• Knowledge of ABC and other applicable government department rules and regulations regarding alcoholic beverage sales
