C3 Presents creates music festival experiences for millions of fans across the globe, setting the new standard each year for events that are as memorable as they are spectacular, including Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, Lollapalooza in Chicago (and seven other countries), and Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee.
THE JOB
This person is an integral part of the Casino Division. Each year, this division books several hundred shows for casino clients across the country and Canada. We are looking for someone to process contracts for these shows who is dependable, a quick-learner, consistent in their work, and able to manage multiple deadlines. Experience with contracts is strongly preferred. References required.
THE JOB
This position will get the successful candidate trained up to be promoted to Operations Manager status. In addition to Special Projects the candidate will train up to eventually run music festivals or other vac toilet events we may have. The Associate Special Projects Manager's primary responsibility is to support the lead Special Projects technician during each special project USFO supplies with Sanitrax equipment. These special projects will be designated as such by Director-USFO. Some examples are government jobs or sports events. They must learn and support management of the planning, installation, maintenance, and strike of each project. They are responsible for supporting a successful operation and maintenance during any special project that they are assigned to.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Special Projects (Non-Festival)
• Assist the Lead with the operations on special projects
• Assist management of the unloading, installation, tie in, and testing of vac systems
• Assist the guidance and direction of local labor to support the installation as needed
• Train labor on the system as required
• Operate the equipment and ensure that it runs properly throughout the duration of the job
• Troubleshoot problems and do repairs as needed
• Perform site visits as required to determine feasibility and layouts of special projects as required
• Create written reports of plans, advances, and details of each load in and load out as required
• Keep track of parts used and parts needed during each project – required
• Ship gear to next location or holding area
• Festivals
• Unload, install, tie in, and test vac systems
• Assist Vac Ops Festival lead with troubleshooting service calls and visits
• Teach local labor to monitor the pumps during the festival
• Perform vac system repairs as needed
• Flush and strike system at end of show
• General
• Respond to emails and calls promptly
• Support warehouse operations
• Support technical, festival, amp managers as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• At least 3 years' experience in a related field or equivalent work experience is helpful. Major music festival or amphitheater experience is preferred
• Experience in managing and training crews
• Strong mechanical skills and understanding of mechanical systems with ability to evaluate issues and fix them
• Strong fabrication experience (wood, steel, aluminum, plastics) highly preferred
• Plumbing experience is a plus
• Vacuum toilet systems is greatly preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems
• Must work well under pressure
• Must possess strong task management abilities
• Self-motivated is a must
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must be very organized and disciplined with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers
• Must be able to work on multiple projects at once
• Must have good spatial reasoning and be able to envision layouts that haven't yet been built
• Interpret CADs, specifications, or diagram to perform installation, development, or operation activities.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must be available for extensive travel with a project-based schedule
• Personable and always have a professional demeanor and appearance -- especially in stressful situations
