We are Country Nation, the country music festival division of Live Nation. In the last 10
years, the Country Nation team has produced numerous world class country music
festivals annually throughout the United States.
THE ROLE:
The Aware Roamers
Faster Horses is looking for Roaming Guest Service team members to assist with a variety of needs during the event weekend.
This Roaming team members will report to The Supervisor
This is an hourly position and will have shifts running 24 hours per day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• All available roamers welcome attendees at camping checkpoints and at gates to the festival to make everyone aware of their presence and purpose during the weekend's activities
• Distribute helpful materials to Campground Ambassadors and to fans
• Model our fan expectations and code of conduct whenever you are able
• Operate a two-way radio and communicate effectively on the radio
• Listen attentively to the radio and respond quickly when appropriate
• Responsibly operate carts on and around the festival site
• Assist individuals who are in need of help
• Become familiar with information provided by the event, including by not limited to the map, the app, lost and found operation, medical and security protocols, etc.
• Understand evacuation procedures
• Participate in staff trainings and tours prior to the event weekend
QUALIFICATIONS
• Customer service-related work experience is preferred
• Experience communicating on two-way radios is preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in stressful environments is required
• Effectively communicate with members of all departments and entities on site
• Must be able to professionally interact with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner and de-escalate situations before they become unpleasant
• Must be able to stand on your feet for up to eight hours at a time and walk long distances
• Adaptive in fast-paced environments
• Must be an active problem solver
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates and experience weather
• Must be willing to staff camp
