Assistant Production Manager - MGM Fenway Music Hall

Job Description

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Responsible for communicating the details of the evening's event to production crew and all relevant in-house departments.
• Responsible for securing required passes and tickets and prepares guest lists
• Manages members of the Production crew Catering and Greenroom staff
• Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show
• Oversee Stage Operations
• Supervise the Load-in and load out of band equipment and rental equipment
• Responsible for documenting disciplinary issues of production crew and reports actions back to Production Manager
• Ensure all in-house policies are enforced regarding staging, safety and show protocol
• Attend Production Meetings
• Maintain a relationship with Local & National Production Vendors
• Report building issues to Operation manager and Production Manager
• Coordinate with Loading Dock Master
• Other production duties as assigned

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:
• 5 years minimum or Venue experience
• Experience working with an IATSE Stage Crew
• Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems preferred
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information
• Proficiency with all Microsoft, Vectorworks and or AutoCAD applications
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices as related to the entertainment industry.
• OSHA 10 Required
• General knowledge of all technical production categories, including but not limited to audio, lighting, staging, rigging and video
• Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.

Preferred:
• College Degree

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
• Must be able to lift 75lbs
• Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level, extreme lighting changes, strobes & moving lights
• Able to wear a radio earpiece during the scheduled shift
