THE JOB
Live Nation Concerts - Mystic Lake Amphitheater is seeking a Venue Ancillary Manager to oversee day-of-show ancillary sales and maximize revenue opportunities. This role collaborates with venue leadership to optimize upsell execution, analyze performance, and drive strategic improvements.
This role is a Part-Time Seasonal position.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Venue Nation is looking for an Ancillary Manager at Mystic Lake Amphitheater. The Ancillary Manager will be responsible for leading the team that generates all upsell revenue streams during the day of show.
Responsibilities:
• Interviews, selects, trains, and supervises department staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the staff.
• Communicate with the venue's core team about staffing, upsell availability and overall execution of upsell programs during the show.
• Communicate with the box office manager during the day of show to trouble shoot any opportunities that arise with guests, upsell availability or equipment.
• Provide suggestions to venue leadership based on feedback from team and guests during the day of show. Suggestions may include topic such as pricing strategies, best practices and team execution for both presales and day of show.
• Provide feedback around finding new, creative revenue streams for the venue based on day of show experiences and trends.
• Secure and reconcile day of show ancillary sales.
• Compile various reports to provide upsell information to venue leadership.
• Participate in meetings regarding day of show & ancillary operations.
• Other tasks assigned by management.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
REQUIRED
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or revenue management
• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of upselling techniques, revenue generation strategies, and guest service best practices
• Experience in accurate cash handling, reconciliation, and sales reporting.
• A positive outlook, strong communication skills including public speaking or meeting facilitation skills and the ability to engage others.
• Accurate management of inventory and communication of ordering of necessary items.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
PREFERRED
• Experience in live entertainment or concert venue operations
• Familiarity with ticketing and POS systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends
• Budget management or revenue forecasting experience

The expected compensation for this position is:
$20.00 USD - $25.00 USD Hourly
