THE JOB

The Project Accountant will assist the Director of Project Finance to oversee finance operations for Live Nation's destination events. This role will oversee day-to-day & event to event payments, processes, and reconciliation. Ideal candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team. This candidate will join our expert team of passionate travel and music lovers. We produce intimate and exclusive experiences where everyone is a VIP and no detail is overlooked.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Work with multiple event budgets at once, while organizing expenses for all events
• Manage season cash flow document for operations including post-event reconciliation
• Lead the allocation of expenses across all destination events
• Support the Director of Project Finance in day to day accounting procedures
• Maintain clean and organized coding of all expenses
• Work with department heads to ensure large expenses are being allocated properly across all programs
• Build department budget breakouts
• Ability to quickly learn Company expense coding, event allocations, and financial policies
• Submit event payments
• Collect necessary vendor and payment information for each vendor
• Ensure invoices are received and paid on time
• Maintain communication with each department to gather information on upcoming payments to properly forecast expenses
• Assist in forecasting cash spending on-site
• Review and approve expense reports and Emburse card reports for all departments daily on-site
• Support in the settlement process for each show
• Daily on-site cash float reconciliation
• Daily on-site Emburse card monitoring and reconciliation
• Ensure on-site accountants are entering Emburse/float reports into Certify/Quickbooks
• Ensure all receipts are loaded into dropbox daily

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 2-3 years of experience with event financials
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Strong excel skills
• Strong aptitude for math
• Strong analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting or finance
• Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem solve, delegate, follow up, and communicate
• Ability to get all tasks and assignments done in a timely manner while managing your own workload and day to day schedule
• Ability to maintain, control and communicate deadlines, roadblocks, and escalations as needed
• Willingness to adopt new project management tools and communication platforms as used by the company

• Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English, although this is not required.
