Summary of Position

The EVP, Global Earned Media & Communications will report to the President, Worldwide Marketing. The position oversees and directs all the earned media efforts for the lifecycle of all Lionsgate films – from production through to the package release as well as manage the communications for the entire MPG.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the global earned media and communications strategy and tactics for all Lionsgate films.

• Oversee all global publicity activities and tactics including the national, regional and targeted press out-reach, review and screening strategy, as well as all events, junkets, screenings, stunts and PA tours.

• Manage the editorial Visual Communications team that captures and creates the unit photography and EPK elements.

• Oversee all MPG corporate communications in conjunction with designated agency.

• Interface with high-level filmmakers, actors, actor representatives, and festival heads.

• Work closely with the media, creative, digital, strategy and operations teams within the marketing group to ensure campaign alignment with the overall strategic marketing pillars.

• Connect regularly with the creative, strategy and sales/distribution executives on all projects to ensure open lines of communication and close collaboration.

• Create, adhere and maximize the publicity budgets for all titles

Qualifications & Skills
• Min. 10 years' experience steering publicity campaigns at all budget levels to success.

• Experience with high profile filmmakers and actors.

• Experience in successfully building and maintaining positive work cultures, allocating resources and designing (or redesigning) organizational structures and systems.

• Strong knowledge of the film & TV industry and consumer, particularly emerging trends.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Min. 10 years' experience steering publicity campaigns at all budget levels to success.

• Experience with high profile filmmakers and actors.

• Experience in successfully building and maintaining positive work cultures, allocating resources and designing (or redesigning) organizational structures and systems.

• Strong knowledge of the film & TV industry and consumer, particularly emerging trends.

• Bachelor's Degree
