Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Director, Creative Advertising for our Motion Picture Marketing Group. Ideal candidate will be a hands-on graphic designer who can build their own key art in addition to overseeing agency work. In addition to a great portfolio showcasing, top-notch composition and typography, candidate will have posters on IMP they can point us to and show a body of 1st rate Entertainment design. This role will also be responsible for overseeing and participating in the design of campaign collateral including digital graphics and packaging so should have demonstrated abilities there as well.

This position requires a highly skilled individual who relishes the creative challenges and opportunities of working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. You should be a self-motivated and judicious creative thinker with a sharp eye for design detail and a demonstrated ability to take a project across the finish line with accuracy.

You should be passionate about creating artwork for the film and television industry. You can work well independently but are a true collaborator and team player. You keep up-to-date with innovative creative work across industries, with innovations in creative software and are willing to share those findings and best practices with the team.

Responsibilities
• Build Creative Briefs for dissemination to agencies and artists

• Manage vendor relationships and provide art direction to maintain creative standard

• Collaborate with the Project Managers to ensure all details of the campaign are met

• Optimize assets for digital streaming platforms and AV use

• Design and build marketing and sales decks and presentations

• Organize and keep templates up-to-date

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, or applicable degree/experience, preferred

• Minimum of 7 years' studio and/or agency experience

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Hands-on expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)

• Superior organization skills to ensure final assets are distributed and archived properly

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests

• Attention to detail

• Must be a team player; ability to collaborate and take criticism constructively is a must

• Savvy with type, color and layout design

• Able to navigate complex Photoshop files

• Knowledgeable of various printing techniques and substrates

• Proficient in PowerPoint
