Summary of Position
The Director of Business Strategy & Operations will play a critical role in how Motion Picture Group defines their long & short term strategies, impacting how LIONSGATE's movies are made, marketed and distributed. This role will partner closely with leaders to set and implement the strategic direction of the Motion Picture Group. Monitoring our performance within the industry and ensuring operational efficiency to help drive the success of the division. Responsibilities
• Strategy:
• Support strategic analysis and long-term planning for Motion Picture Group, monitoring performance and developing insights that will inform project prioritization and strategic initiatives across the organization
• Monitor, analyze and communicate competitive tracking that impacts strategic planning and growth
• Analyze and distill customer, industry and end-user research to identify key stakeholder needs, customer expectations and experience-led business opportunities
• Act as internal consultant to lead and manage ad hoc strategic projects
• Title Management:
• Facilitate cross-functional discussion and development of strategic lifecycle roadmaps, workflows and project plans to achieve desired outcomes within an agile framework
• Collaborate with the executive team to formulate a suite of success metrics to evaluate performance against defined goals and initiatives
• Maintain a close eye on the performance of the titles by ensuring core KPIs are met and understand the drivers behind it
• Prepare campaign post-mortems and strategy sessions to inform, motivate and direct staff in a shared direction and support a climate of continuous learning

• Operations:
• Drive the execution and analysis of pre-defined tests and metrics to evaluate new opportunities and inform the success of strategic initiatives
• Regularly update and communicate operational and analytical metrics and performance highlights to vertical and Motion Picture Group leadership through a suite of self-serve measurement tools and dashboards
• Collaborate with stakeholders across all verticals to ensure selection and deployment of tools that help MPG achieve and track their strategic goals and title success metrics
• Partner with transformation experts to implement and enable stakeholders embrace new digital operating models and a customer-centric mindset and approach to decision-making
Qualifications & Skills
• 4+ years in Business Strategy, Consulting, Finance, Marketing, Change Management or related field
• Experience or education in Business, Marketing, Technology, and/or Research domains. MBA a plus.
• Knowledge of the key business value drivers and success metrics typical of large-enterprise companies
• Thrive working collaboratively and cross-functionally across peers, executive management and key stakeholders from all different areas of the business
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information, working in situations where data may be absent or ambiguous
• Resourceful, proficient at solving problems, attention to detail, highly organized and ability to prioritize workload; comfortable with a fast-paced rapidly evolving environment
• Insatiable curiosity to learn new domains, keep up with industry innovation, and constantly ask 'why'
• Ability to articulate sophisticated ideas in a clear and concise manner with strong written presentation skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Word)
• An interest in movies or entertainment a plus
