About KYTV:

KY3 and KSPR are part of a seven-station group in Springfield, MO. KY3 is one of the most dominant NBC affiliates in the country, while KSPR is an up-and-coming ABC station. KYCW, the high-rated CW station, also broadcasts from the same studio, and the combined newsrooms produce newscasts for all three stations. KY3/KSPR covers 31 counties in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas and has four news gathering bureaus stationed throughout the DMA. Job Summary/Description:

Maintains IT infrastructure, maintains local and wide area networks, provides support for all computers and computer systems tied to these networks, troubleshoots software issues and needs, maintains security for all systems, and maintains phone system.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Able to design and maintain IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of Cisco Networking, IT Security, MS Server, Desktop and how to operate and support them
• Able to manipulate and/or program software to meet the needs of users
• Able to communicate technical information in a manner that is easy to understand
• Able to build and maintain relationships
• Must be flexible and willing to expand skills into broadcast TV equipment
• Electronics experience is a plus
• Design and maintain IT infrastructure
• Administer local and wide area networks
• Manipulate or program software to meet the needs of users
• Support all computer systems and assist users
• Maintain IT security
• Communicate effectively with others
• Quickly, accurately and calmly handle decision-making process

Qualifications/Requirements:
• 1 - 3 years experience in IT operations
• Some College or Vocational
