Job Summary/Description:

KWQC, the top rated NBC affiliate in Davenport, IA, is accepting applications for a Promotions Producer to join its award winning Creative Services Team.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Writing, shooting, and editing compelling News and Station promotions as well as forceful commercials.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter who can multi-task to meet deadlines and work both independently as well as part of a team.
- Assist with station sponsored events.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- A strong interest in local news and social media is a must.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud 2019; knowledge of Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- 1+ year experience in broadcast production.
- Ability to write news promotions, shoot and edit content that grabs viewer's attention
- Ability to work with Station Account Executives and Advertisers to create dynamic commercials.
- Demo reel of your best work.
