Job Description/Summary:

KWQC-TV6 is looking for a person ready to start climbing the producing ladder in the broadcast industry. A Content Producer would be responsible for looking for and build fresh, new local, national and international content into the newscast.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

This position would have a strong support system of anchors, another producer, a digital producer and someone from our management team to oversee late-breaking news and live opportunities for the show.

Qualifications/Requirements:

A college degree in journalism, broadcasting or related field is preferred. Experience is a plus.

In lieu of a college degree, applicants with 2 or more years of experience in the broadcast or forecasting industry will be considered.
