Job Summary/Description:

KVLY-TV/KXJB-TV is looking for a new host for the number one, longest running locally produced daytime talk show in the Red River Valley, North Dakota Today. Our next host will be upbeat, fun and energetic with an emphasis on all three! North Dakota Today is a lifestyle show focused on women, the community and looks to highlight everything that this area has to offer. The successful candidate will be an idea person who can help keep the content of the show fresh by identifying trends and working with the producer of the show to craft content for all platforms. Critical thinking abilities are essential. Some travel is required.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Will help lead daily planning for the show. The successful candidate will help write for the broadcast and post daily to the station social media accounts to help promote the show.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Must have basic knowledge of online platforms and be active on social media.
Must be availabel for limited overnight travel.
