Analyst, IT Operations, KNXV
Provide support, configuration and maintenance of local area networks, operating systems, application software and hardware in accordance with Scripps IT policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Provide desktop support for local users to include workstations, laptops, printers, and copiers.
• Gather feedback from end users regarding system performance
• Provide effective levels of support and guidance to employees regarding the use of systems and technologies available on network
• Provide advice and technical training to users
• Maintain voice, data and video systems
• Notify appropriate management when users or organization is negatively impacted by voice, data, or video systems issues and recommend possible solutions
• Research and evaluate new technologies, make recommendations as required
• Keep current with technology development, trends, and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance
• Respond to technology requests and issues in a timely manner
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of general IT experience
• Basic knowledge of networks, business and publishing systems and production systems
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical materials
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
