Job Description

Denver's KDVR Fox 31 and KWGN CW2 is looking for a high energy, motivated to learn, innovative and experienced Broadcast Engineer to manage a TV Stations IT Systems. This will include, but will not be limited to, maintaining, upgrading and monitoring the Master Control Computer systems (Florical), Newsroom system computers (ENPS/Bitcentral), graphic system computers (Ross Xpression). You work closely with the Engineering Staff in supporting all of the station's IT needs and issues. This job could take you on the road to provide engineering support for large News remotes and to the transmit/receive sites around the state. Most of the time this position will work out of the downtown studios providing support for the station's News and Master Control systems.

Qualifications
• Four year engineering/ IT related degree or equivalent seasoned experience (5-10 years) in the industry. IT System's Management experience a must. Candidate must have strong computer/network skills and some Ethernet Radio knowledge and experience. If we tell you the Station Network Router is down, News Control Room switcher is down, the Master Control System is off line; How would you respond? Can you handle the pressure? Have you been in this situation before? If we used the term PLC, Raspberry Pie, PHP, Exchange Server, LUN, VLAN, ASI, Mux, Ethernet radio, CLI, IOT, and encoder would you know what we are talking about? Can you operate at Sat truck and a Microwave truck? Essentially, we are looking for someone with seasoned experience in the broadcast industry with strong technical skills. Responsibilities
• Include all key functions involved with applicable computer/network technology, Broadcast engineering and maintenance. Managing and training a strong engineering staff, oversight of day to day engineering support and equipment maintenance.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift and carry up to a maximum of 70 pounds and work at heights using ladders, step-stools or other necessary equipment. In this position, you must be able to frequently bend, squat, crawl and reach above shoulder level. You must be able to operate a company vehicle.

This position has a starting salary range of $100,000 annually, commiserative with experience. Other benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K match.
