KCCI-TV, the Hearst Television CBS affiliate in Des Moines is seeking applicants for a Part-time Technical Operator in the Engineering Department. This a hands-on position in a mid-sized news-oriented broadcast television environment. Des Moines is ranked as one of America's best cities to live and raise a family. Experience in operating professional video camera, audio, and master control equipment is preferred. Job Responsibilities:
• Operate broadcast studio or master control equipment, which can include cameras, switchers, audio consoles or automation software. Work early mornings and weekend shifts, for production of live newscasts.
• An aptitude for teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Consistent availability to work on mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering.

Required Skills:
• Must have a solid background in broadcast television systems.

Education:
• Some college education preferred. Current students welcome.
