THE ROLE

Insomniac is looking for a Night Owl Coordinator to to provide leadership in coordinating large scale transportation needs. The Night Owl Logistics Coordinator will communicate with the Insomniac warehouse team to coordinate and manage transportation teams to Insomniac events. This position will report to the Insomniac Logistics Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage large volume of transportation requests/ needs during all Insomniac Festivals, events & third party vendor shipments.
• Provide process improvements and performance – developing ideas to support continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Process all Insomniac and third party invoices through TMS.
• Maintain DOT/ FMCSA compliance in coordination with company safety regulations & oversee quality control standards. This would include following all corporate safety and department policies such as maintaining trip reports, Bill of Ladings, POD's, maintenance reports, OS&D repairs, roadside calls, etc.
• Communicate & assist the Insomniac Warehouse Team in the preparation of the inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery of Insomniac goods.
• Coordinate and schedule with each department to schedule deliveries and pick up of Insomniac goods pre, during & post festival or events. This includes monitoring inventory adjustments and any unmoved inventory on site.
• Assist with the management of daily operations, coordination and planning of daily/weekly shipments through the Night Owl CMS, at times during the early morning hours or late evening hours.
• Provide clear communication and oversight to Night Owl drivers for the collection, drop-off & organization of truck shipments. Manage & liaise all communication, drop offs, and pick ups on/off site.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints. Works within defined processes to determine root causes for noncompliance and recommend changes for improvement.
• Maintain records, filing and general administration duties to include but not limited to Night Owl monthly expense reports, weekly payroll, P-cards, fuel cards, etc.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree in supply chain management or related experience
• 3+ Years experience in logistics and transportation
• 2+ Years of leading teams as well as optimizing and reorganizing teams to most effectively meet business needs
• Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office
• Advanced knowledge of DOT compliance and FMCSA regulations
• Ability to communicate with many people and process a large volume of requests as necessary.
• Ability to problem solve immediate shipping requests.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
