THE ROLE
Insomniac is looking for a Lighting Team Member. This position will report to the Lighting Project Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute the installation of lighting fixtures according to the direction provided by the lighting project manager and production designer
• Assist with running electrical wiring and assisting with troubleshooting electrical issues
• Assisting with programming specialty lighting
QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience in lighting setup and operation for live events.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of lighting programming and control systems.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to achieving precise and high-quality results.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
