The Job:

The Technical Project Manager is part of the Technology Department and reports to the VP Technology. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of technology projects as well as product owner for our Broadcast Management System.

What You Will Do:

• Manage and ensure the successful implementation of technology projects, according to industry best-practices, utilising standard methodologies and in-line with the technology strategy
  
• Primary product owner of our BMS – Mediagenix What’sON – be the Subject Matter Expert, manage product development according to the business’ needs and provide escalated support as require
• Assist with the design and implementation of technical workflows and operational processes in accordance to the group’s strategy
• Work with our key service partners to address technical issues, enhance workflows and control change management
  
• Actively contribute to researching technologies to ensure the business maintains its status as a leader in UHD content creation and distribution
  
• Ensure SOPs, technical standards and other technical documentation is up-to-date
  
• Provide technical and operational training as required
  
• Provide technical support across the entire business as required
  

What You Need:

• Must be Degree-qualified in a Related Field or Equivalent Experience
  
• Project Management qualification
  
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Media & Broadcast industry
  
• Must have extensive knowledge and experience with Broadcast Management Systems
  
• Experience designing API endpoints and associated OpenAPI documentation
  
• Experience with XML and XLST stylesheets
• Experience with linear playout and automation systems
• Knowledge of linear and non-linear distribution via DTT, DTH, IP and OTT
  
• Experience working in a 24/7 broadcasting environment
  
• Experience and working knowledge with the production and post-production process
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Good level of IT knowledge in an enterprise environment

• Fluent spoken and written English
