Job Description
Indiewire seeks a talented full-time graphic designer to forge a unique identity that stands out in the marketplace. You will collaborate with our events, sales, and editorial teams to create marketing assets, art, and other visual elements that support our brand identity and maintain a cohesive visual style with an eye toward the bold, edgy, and artistic. This role is based in Los Angeles.

Primary Responsibilities:

Event marketing. Design and create digital invitations and RSVP materials (including splash pages and confirmation emails) as well as print and digital event logos and signage that support our live media slate. You'll be responsible for implementing the IndieWire brand look and feel across FYC events, festival studios, receptions, and summits.

Sales marketing. Design media kits, award season decks, client pitch decks, house ads, and campaign wrap reports.

Editorial & brand marketing. Design and create original art, graphics, and other visual creative to support and enhance editorial features, news stories, special editorial packaging, hub design, and social media marketing. These can include original headers, homepage art, and bugs for special packages.

Qualifications:
• 2-3 Years Experience Required
• Strong proficiency of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, along with excellent retouching and visualization skills
• Strong eye for detail and the ability to deliver accurate and precise designs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project requirements
• Works well both independently and collaboratively
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving design trends, technologies, and project requirements
• Develop original design concepts and deliver polished visual designs
• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and hit deadlines with quick turnarounds
• Experience in entertainment publishing
• Thrive in a fast-paced and highly creative environment
• Thrive on collaboration, working closely with marketing, events, sales, and editorial staffs
• Work closely with social team on best design practices
• Portfolio and past work examples required

Typical wage range: $67K-$75K. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.

Salary Details
Salary Range: $67,000 to $75,000 Per Year ($ USD)
