As the Social Media & Community Lead of Impssbl, you will develop and execute our marketing strategy, communications, and brand image to the broader audience and grow and nurture our community.
You will be owner of our social media initiatives across Substack, Instagram, Twitter, Discord, and other relevant platforms, engaging in regular interactions with our community such as teaser posts, etc. You will set objectives for marketing campaigns, uncover quantitative and qualitative insights around our community, and co-own our marketing strategy. Core objectives include sustained social media engagement, community growth, and brand reputation. Ultimately, the Social Media & Community Lead will play a key role in establishing a fruitful communication channel between our community and our brand.
No two days are the same on this job. The following tasks will be part of your new role:
- Develop, implement, and manage Impssbl’s marketing strategy across all channels, including brand visuals, social media roadmap, and community management.
- Build the best practices and processes necessary for a efficient and repeatable marketing engine, including quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback loops.
- Manage and engage with communities across Substack, Instagram, Twitter, Discord, and any other relevant media channels.
- Craft a coherent and compelling story and value proposition that resonates with the community and unites all marketing and advertising for Impssbl.
- Conduct regular market research on competitors and maintain a strong pulse of the cutting edge marketing tactics in web & multi-media storytelling.
- Build robust relationships with relevant web2 & web3 influencers, stars and brand ambassadors.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team on major strategic decisions, representing the marketing & community perspective.
- Supervision freelancers Community Engagement Specialist focused on web3 and Discord, and Twitter spaces presence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in marketing at consumer-focused companies with strong online and social media presences, ideally with two-way communication channels (eg, replies on Instagram or Twitter, feedback on Discord, etc).
- At least 1,5 years of experience working as a Content Creator, Content Writer, Content Strategist, or a similar role. A work experience in Consumer Enterteinment Brands or Production Studios with a component of community building is strongly preferred; bonus for involvement in storytelling or enterteinment focused project.
- Proficiency in a variety of marketing skills such as content marketing, community management, SEO, customer segmentation, and brand development.
- Experience working with designers and content creators to craft visuals, images, videos, and banners needed for conveying a strong and cohesive brand identity.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical and multitasking skills.
- English language fluency or mother tongue. Advanced English is a must.
- Knowledge of editorial plan software such as Later.com and HypeFury.
- Knowledge of online marketing channels, in particular Google, Meta, TikTok and Twitter ads.
- You are a "do-er", an entrepreneur – marching forward when others don’t, who is eager to learn and contribute rapidly.

- LA based, fully remote considered with focus on US timezone.
