Who We Are:
At IMG, our Studios business use content and technology to power the world's passion for sport, working with global clients including The Premier League, The R&A, DP World Tour, Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. We've built Europe's best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park, London, distributing 35,000 hours of content globally and creating some of the world's best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities, with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether it's live coverage, archive, highlights, social media, branded content or feature films, we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.
What You'll Do
• Responsible for the quarterly and annual financial planning and analysis for MLS Productions.
• Line management, support and development of two finance staff dedicated to the MLS project. Work with the team on daily basis to drive accurate, complete, and timely cost reporting.
• Liaise with Production, Legal, Sales and Finance colleagues to ensure that all relevant information is obtained to enable accurate revenue, expense, and cash forecasts to be produced for each project in line with contractual terms and revenue recognition policies.
• Finance lead for consolidating, reviewing and presenting monthly client reporting to MLS.
• Responsible for month end accounting closes and identifying and explaining variances from forecasts.
• Liaising with production teams, finance and AR teams to ensure invoices are raised and payments received in line with contractual terms.
• Advising and assisting production staff on financial procedures and dealing with all financial matters relating to the MLS project.
• Responsible for producing a weekly cash flow forecast for the above mentioned projects.
• Liaising with Corporate Accounting and Treasury on related matters
• Ensuring appropriate financial governance and control is in place and is being adhered to.
• Liaise with external audit teams as required.

• Must be prepared to work additional hours as required to meet deadlines
You Have These:
• Experience of financial planning and analysis - working with both finance and non-finance staff
• Qualified Accountant CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent
• Monthly management of accounts
• Closing books each month
• Review budget vs variance analysis
• Understanding of the functions of other Finance departments, e.g., Treasury, Tax, AP and AR
• Able to work on own initiative to identify and resolve problems
• Confident and flexible team player
• Must be able to work calmly under pressure and work as part of a team to achieve results
• Must be able to determine priorities and organise work to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work on own initiative to identify problem areas and work through to a satisfactory conclusion
• Good Excel skills
We'd Love If You Also Have These:
• Knowledge of US GAAP and solid understanding of payroll process, union labor agreements and tax requirements.
• Line management experience
• Experience of working in a Media related environment
• Experience in using SAP accounting system and other budgeting / forecasting systems
• An understanding of the television programme production budgeting process
• A knowledge of Sport and Television production
