ABOUT ICM

POSITION SUMMARY

The AV Engineer oversees and supports Tier 2 video conferencing equipment and provides ongoing Video Conferencing Technical Support agency wide (Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC and other remote locations). This position is responsible for resolving issues related to in-room technology; AV/VC equipment failure, physical malfunction and software configurations and conduct root cause analyses to improve processes and trend reoccurring issues to improve service. The AV Engineer Technician II provides Level-2 support. This position is additionally responsible for commissioning retrofits and new builds.

JOB DUTIES
• Oversee all elements of content development and audio production for our existing franchises
• Ensure high quality editing and technical production for meetings
• Ability to operate analog or digital consoles
• Excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Technical AV certifications such as CTS a plus
• Positive, professional image
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to operate related AV technologies required for the job, i.e. Town Hall events, conference room meetings, video conference-based events in multiple locations
• Ability to work with an onsite technology support team daily
• Manage and support the growth and development of direct reports
• Ability to manage projects and personnel as part of your daily duties
• Some travel may be required
• Other duties, as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 10 years' experience supporting Corporate AV environments
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing staff
• Experience with remote production and especially coordinating amongst several stakeholders within business
• Codecs – Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Etc.: 5 years (Required)
• Conference Room Technologies – AMX, Biamp, Cisco, Condeco, Polycom: 5 years (Required)
• Working knowledge of video editing software platforms like Adobe Premiere, Handbrake, iMovie, and similar platforms required
• Ability to assemble raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer
• Equipped with skills to input sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
• Equipped with skills to input graphics to enhance footage
• Ability to digitally splice film and video content and synchronize them into one rough cut file
• Ability to improving and correct lighting, coloring and faulty footage
• Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager (strongly preferred)
• Training in multimedia and communications helpful
• Proficiency in editing software programs
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Aptitude for acquiring new skills, ability to adapt quickly to change, advanced troubleshooting skills, acute attention to detail and specific written procedures
• Must be Customer Service oriented and show an ability to take ownership of an issue.
