As a software developer at Hulu, you will be working from the design of high availabilities of service to flexible and extensible solution implementation architecture in the user profiling, user growth and user segmentation domain. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Design, implement big data systems to enhance the massive data processing and analytics in user understanding domain in Hulu
• Continuously improving system performance to handle challenges from growing business and data
• Cooperate with data scientist, data product manager, marketing, advertisement sales to drive user growth in an open and innovative environment
• Continuously improving engineer practice, promote quality of service

WHAT TO BRING
• BS, MS degree in CS related major, 3+ years working experience
• Rich experience on system design, performance tuning
• Independent, energetic, highly technical, and thrives under pressure and ambiguity. Strong advocate of software engineering practices and agile approaches
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in English and Mandarin Chinese

NICE-TO-HAVES
• Spark, HBase, Flink proven experience
• Microservice
