Senior Software Engineer - BI - Reporting (Ad Intelligence)

SUMMARY

Viewer-first advertising is a strategic imperative for Hulu and Disney. The Beijing Ad Intelligence team's mission is to transform advertising and Disney's Ad platform with data and AI across TV and streaming video. We build solutions to measure and optimize every aspect of the advertising life cycle. Our tenant is a strong cross-functional team to deliver E2E solutions covering tech areas ranging from machine learning, big data, microservices to data applications. Our team is seeking a lead software developer for BI who will be an outstanding addition and leading development for data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. The right person for this role should be experienced in data modeling, data processing and how to turn the business requirement to data solutions, this is a phenomenal role for you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead the development of the Hulu Ads BI system, including reporting platform design, reporting development and pipeline development
• Drive data modeling, analysis, and data mining to uncover trends and actionable insights
• Carry out report design and visualization development
• Partner with analytics stakeholders to provide ongoing reporting and analysis of business KPIs/metrics to inform and support the regions business, product, and marketing decisions
• Create and review operational dashboards to facilitate data self-service for stakeholders and educate end users on how to interpret data
• Responsible for reporting optimization and data governance
• Partner with internal teams to improve processes and standardize best practices (such as data modeling, documentation, automation)

WHAT TO BRING
• Bachelor or above in computer science or statistics
• At least 4+ years of experience in data engineering，2+ years of experience in reporting development
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy
