CLEARANCE SUPERVISOR

Looking for an experienced clearance supervisor to work with head of company rights & clearances on multiple archive-heavy documentary series. Position likely to go through the end of 2022.

Ideal candidate has three years of experience working on archival-based documentaries, is pleasant and professional, collaborative, organized, and excels in a team environment.

Experience Must Include:

· Screening cuts to identify clearance issues, fair use potential, promo clearance

· Creating clearance reports and budget projections using EDLs

· Collaborating with Creative to find positive solutions to clearance problems

· Understanding of vendor approvals process and licensing policies at major networks, studios and stock houses

· Researching archival content, identifying © sources, ordering preview materials, tracking associated fees

· Submitting license requests, confirming fees, tracking third party licenses through legal review to signature

· Coordinating with Creative & Post to identify denied shots and quickly find licensable alternatives, tracking swaps

· Preparing and submitting network deliverables, tracking status of wrap

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Exel and Google Docs is a MUST, experience with AVID is a PLUS
