Temporary Events Manager, CL Fair
We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Temporary Events Manager for the upcoming Country Living Fair. This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a renowned magazine brand and contribute to a vibrant, immersive event experience. As the Events Manager, you'll play a crucial role in identifying and onboarding talented makers, ensuring an exceptional vendor lineup that aligns with the Country Living brand and engages our audience.
Resonsibilities:
• Identify and recruit talented makers who embody the spirit of Country Living.
• Collaborate with the Country Living team to align maker selections with the brand's vision and values.
• Help onboard vendors, providing guidance and support to ensure a seamless experience.
• Oversee the maker selection process.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Address any vendor-related inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with event regulations and health & safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
• A passion for the maker community and a deep understanding of the Country Living brand.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail.
• Experience in event management or a related field, preferably within the lifestyle or home decor industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during the event period.
• A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
The base salary for this role is $50/hr . The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
