Temporary Design Director, Oprah Daily
Oprah Daily seeks a Design Director to design our holiday print issue. This role reports into the Creative Director and will work collaboratively with art, photo, and editorial teams.
Resonsibilities:
• Manage the design of Oprah Daily's holiday issue
• Design pages and see them through initial concept to finished page
• Assign illustrations as needed
• Work collaboratively with the existing art team as well as with photo and editorial to concept visual ideas
• Work with Executive Managing Editor to adhere to budget
Qualifications:
• At least seven years of professional content design experience
• Exceptional design sensibility and production skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Expert knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Woodwing
The base salary for this role is between $90/hr. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
