KCCI has opening s for Part-Time Technical Operator for our station's live, fast-paced newscasts. Start your television career with us to gain the experience to take the next step. The ideal candidate would have beginning experience operating professional video cameras, audio, or Media Operations. This a hands-on position in a news-oriented broadcast environment. KCCI-TV is the lead source for the latest local headlines and live alerts. What we do helps our community. Job Responsibilities:
• Operate broadcast studio equipment, which can include cameras, audio consoles or Media Ops software. We have openings in the early morning and the afternoon, including weekends, for the production of live newscasts.
• An aptitude for teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Consistent availability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering.

Required Skills:
• Must have some background in broadcast television systems (classes or personal, applied experience counts).

Education:
• Related experience and/or training considered as well as a combination of any related education
or experience.
