Your Impact:

Men's Health is looking for a Senior Style and Commerce Editor with a strong background in e-commerce and a passion for covering the best products and gear across health, fitness, style and grooming, tech, outdoors, and more. We're looking for someone who will be excited about developing strategic insights to create best-in-class recommendations that will help our community discover staff-tested products they'll love.

This person will work with the editorial team to write, edit, and produce detailed and accurate content around product reviews, gift guides, sales & deals coverage, and relevant consumer news. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a strong writer with a hands-on approach to identifying and testing the latest gear-from new running shoes and fitness trackers to shampoos and personal care items.

Please note: for consideration, resumes must be submitted in PDF format with a cover letter, salary requirements, and a link to a portfolio of work.

What You'll Do:
• Edit staff-and freelancer-contributed shopping stories that highlight the testing and product expertise of the Men's Health editorial staff.
• Write and update product content in a way that is voice-y, search-optimized and smartly packaged.
• Work with Hearst's central affiliate sales team on sales & deals coverage, including editing and producing original content for high-performing sales holidays like Black Friday.
• Track performance of commerce content in order to conceive, plan and execute new areas of growth.
• Stay on top of breaking news, consumer alerts, trends, new products, and the latest buzzy stuff happenings in the product space.
• Work with the photo, design, and video teams to optimize product stories with original imagery, graphics, video, and more.
• Supervise junior staff and assist in their professional development and growth.

Who You Are:
• You have at least 3 years of experience in e-commerce editorial, marketing, or creative services.
• You have strong editing, reporting, and writing skills.
• You have a talent for digging up the coolest and most interesting products, as well as finding original reporting angles when it comes to consumer news.
• You are someone who understands analytics and can translate them into editorial action - familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker, Skimlinks, or similar reporting tools is key.
• You are a whiz when it comes to SEO best practices.
• You have experience producing or hosting multimedia and/or knowledge of video and social platforms.
• You are a team player who is proactive, organized, enthusiastic, and deadline-oriented, and is willing to pitch in whenever needed.
