Your Impact:
HarpersBazaar.com is looking for a senior social media manager who can oversee and grow the brand's many digital platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Apple News, and more. The candidate will work on all day-to-day operations critical to Bazaar's social strategy. The ideal candidate has experience managing large social audiences and producing creative social content and is fluent in the language of luxury fashion, with a passion for Bazaar's topics of style, beauty, culture, and celebrity. This role reports to the Digital Deputy Editor.

Also, this is a hybrid role. Candidates must live in or in commutable distance to the Manhattan office.
What you'll do:
• Oversee and post to Bazaar's Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts
• Work with various editorial teams to create and execute on social-first initiatives and story promotion
• Develop new and innovative strategies for growing Bazaar's social presence
• Manage the creation and execution of content for Bazaar's TikTok
• Work with Apple News to create dynamic experiences for the iPhone and iPad reader, plus handle strategy around push notifications for the brand
• Monitor social media platforms and communicate audience feedback
Who you are:
• 5+ years of professional social media experience, with strong editorial judgment and clean writing skills
• Fashion pro who has experience handling social media for a fashion (or beauty) magazine, website, or brand and understands the specific Bazaar voice
• Savvy strategist who knows how to utilize social platforms (including Threads, Twitch, and other emerging platforms) and tools like SocialFlow, Google Analytics, and Dash Hudson
• Someone who loves spotting and trying the newest social trends
• Lover of fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Able to work nights and weekends as needed
• Bachelor's degree
The base salary for this role is between $74,000 and $100,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
