Job Description
We are seeking a Product Manager, Product, Storytelling and Tools, to help develop the product roadmap and vision across our content experience at Hearst Magazines

Hearst Magazines has a global audience of 400 million unique digital visitors, with 21 brands in the U.S, including Men's Health, Delish, Runner's World, ELLE, and Cosmopolitan, and close to 200 websites around the world.

The person in this role will be accountable for writing user stories, capturing requirements and ensuring execution for the storytelling and tools roadmap. You will learn and experience the process of setting priorities, managing tradeoffs and clearly communicating plans with various stakeholders. You will be part of a team responsible for the digital transformation of a world-leading media company.

As Product Manager, Storytelling and Tools, you will work with editors to develop the tools to tell amazing stories. You will understand both the internal user - an editor putting together a great story, as well as the reader looking to find the latest recipe and put together prioritized roadmaps reflecting these two needs.

Ideal candidates have a keen attention to detail and a voracious desire to learn. You must enjoy spending time with stakeholders and evangelizing their needs.

What you'll do
• Understand user needs and translate them into clear user stories
• Ensure product roadmap reflects highest priorities
• Identify and execute experiments and monitor and analyze product performance metrics, using this data to improve existing products and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with content experience stakeholders
• Ensure communication between developers, designers, and business stakeholders to resolve conflicts, address dependencies, and remove impediments to delivery.

Who you are
• 1-3 years in product management and technology management in the area of consumer facing Web sites for media & entertainment.
• Experienced in and understand the complexity of working in a mature, geographically spread organization
• Have a track record of building relationships with stakeholders, partners, clients and also individual team members.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Proven track record of full responsibility through the product life cycle in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Have shipped highly successful products.
• Cross-functional and senior stakeholder exposure and management.
