Job Description
Your Impact:

As a Senior Data Insights & Analytics Analyst, you will partner directly with the Controllers and Assistant Controllers across all of Hearst Magazine Media (HMM) to deliver actionable insights and data analytics to assist with improving business analysis, identifying abnormalities, and drive decision making. You will serve as the critical resource for all data analytics and programming needs across HMM. Qualifications:

Who You Are:
• BS in Accounting (CPA preferred), Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management

• 3-6 years of experience working as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or a public accountant (Big 4 preferred)

• Advanced understanding of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI, Tableau), databases (SQL etc.), programming (Python, R, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks), Cloud, and Excel (SmartView, Essbase, or other ERP add-ins).

• Experience with automation software/robotics (i.e., UiPath)

• Understanding of debits/credits, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows
