Hearst Magazines International's digital strategy team provides strategic, growth-focused insight for and ensures strong, transparent collaboration across our global businesses. The Senior Data Analyst is a key position on this team, ensuring that we're able to collate and analyze all relevant KPIs across our global network to track, model and inform business strategy, providing in-depth analysis and insight to a variety of stakeholders.
The role is responsible for using a multiple of different data sets to define, build and maintain reports that deliver actionable insights and identify opportunities for significant and efficient growth. This includes cross-platform content to affiliate commerce to digital subscriptions, and the Senior Data Analyst will liaise with business and data teams across all markets including the US to form a global approach to data capture and analysis that drives local growth.
What You'll Do
• Create, deliver, maintain executive reports across a multitude of data sets
• Use various advanced tools and analytical practices to present detailed pictures of overall performance and user engagement across all touchpoints, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions
• Develop solutions to answer new business questions, identifying metrics that drive change
• Power report-creation as needed and insight-sharing across our owned and operated businesses overseas
• Develop and nurture internal relationships with data leads across the world, partnering with them and our US teams to deliver International needs
Who You Are
• 4+ years of data analytics experience at a consumer-facing organization
• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Looker, Domo, Data Studio or other content and BI tools
• Experience with SQL, comfortable sourcing, merging and working with multiple, disparate data sets
• Ability to analyze, interpret and visualize data into clear and actionable dashboards and reports
• Communicative and collaborative
• Organized, detail-oriented and comfortable across multiple projects at once
The base salary for this role is between $85,000 and $100,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
