Job Description
Hearst Television is one of the largest news and media organizations in the country. We own and operate 33 television stations and two radio stations, reaching 21 million US television households across 39 states. We are seeking a metrics driven Engagement & Retention marketing coordinator for our first OTT/CTV streaming service. If you love digging up insights from data and taking action based on it, then this role is for you. This is a highly visible, centralized position and the Retention Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing lifecycle marketing and personalization initiatives to help grow and retain users, and increase engagement and repeat visits from them. This position will work closely with other internal teams to plan and execute campaigns, in addition to working with other third-party vendors.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute Email & Push campaigns for lifecycle, transactional, triggered and promotional campaigns to improve customer engagement and overall user LTV
• Lead workflow closely with key partners to ensure deliverables are ready in time for campaign launches
• Develop key performance metrics for campaigns and set up reports to communicate progress to the leadership
• Develop a strategy to implement personalized programs that are scalable and support key business objectives
• Partner with various project managers to plan and execute A/B tests to continually optimize and improve user experience and increase user's time on the App
• Monitor and track customer feedback and reviews on various platforms and identify opportunities to improve customer relationship
• Proactively look into user level data and identify opportunities to improve customer retention
• Research and regularly do competitive analysis to be up to date with with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices

Basic Qualifications
• Related experience and/or training considered as well as a combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years experience in developing lifecycle programs, comfortable with segmentation and data analysis
• Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities, particularly in customer segmentation
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities
• Experience tracking and reporting on engagement KPIs
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with high regard for attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Experience working in the media industry a plus

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $85,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
