Job Description
You will have the opportunity to work with world-renowned brands, including Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Men's Health, ELLE, Oprah, Runner's World and Harpers BAZAAR, helping that content reach new audiences.

In this role, you will be working with Hearst's partnerships management team, with our affiliate revenue teams and with our editorial teams to uncover ways to improve our reach and expand our editorial impact; with a first-class engineering team to discover, plan and implement new revenue-driving features and performance updates to ensure that this core service is stable, scalable and successful; and with external partners to align on best practices to support their unique formats and audience goals.

You are joining the team as we envision and define the next generation of our syndication products. You will be the product voice that weaves our ambitious engineering plans, our known user needs, and our future opportunities for content and video syndication into an actionable roadmap, and you will be the product leader that keeps your team and your stakeholders engaged, excited, and focused on collaboration and success.

Ideal candidates possess big-picture vision yet the drive and attention to detail to make that vision a reality. You enjoy solving complex business problems at the core of the digital transformation of a world-leading media company. You are creative and capable of formulating bold product initiatives. You balance strategic thinking with outstanding execution - holding yourself and your team accountable for delivering successful outcomes.

Qualifications:
• You are product obsessive, with 3-5 years in Digital product management, with expertise in digital media.
• You have a proven track record managing products in fast-paced, Agile environments. You have shipped successful products.
• You have experience building or customizing content management tools. You have delivered features and products that simplify user experiences and streamline workflows.
• You can support multiple deliverables and projects at once, sticking to deadlines.
• You are a creative problem solver who uses all available tools during discovery, planning and issue triage. You proactively learn how to use new tools as needed.
• You are highly collaborative, with the ability to inspire others and push through barriers

Skills
• Leadership. You take responsibility from inception to outcomes, determining needs, aligning priorities, delivering to the market and measuring outcomes.
• Data focused. You know how to navigate a relational database, you're comfortable with API queries, you can navigate a JSON or MRSS document like it's a children's book.
• Logic oriented. You enjoy a puzzle and can confidently navigate business goals, publisher rules and partner specifications, and create a clear plan for creating value between the constraints of competing goals.
• Highly collaborative. You build trust and strong relationships at all levels, influence without formal authority, push back when appropriate, earn respect and respect the contributions of others.
