Job Description
The Partnerships Team is looking for an Operations Analyst. This person would help manage operations, reporting and insight needs across a variety of text, social and video partners, including Apple News, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube and Microsoft.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for analytics and extracting insights from data in clear, actionable ways to help inform successful business decisions that lead to growth. They will have a keen understanding of partner goals and be a strategic thinker who can use learnings to help achieve results, while working with team leads and cross-functionally with product and edit teams. They will be skilled at helping to use data synthesis and analysis to evaluate and inform new projects, initiatives and improved decision-making.

They should have strong intellectual curiosity, excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset . The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is highly organized, resourceful and proactive. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and enthusiasm for content and the media business is a plus!

What you'll do
• Track and report on general insights from multiple sources across a portfolio of partners and communicate in a clear, concise manner to key team stakeholders, other teams and leadership across the organization as needed monthly and quarterly.
• L ead in-depth data deep dive projects to evaluate partner performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights to help partnership team leads grow overall business.
• Maintain revenue reporting and tracking for the team and assist with revenue projections and other related projects as needed.
• Work closely with team leads and Product team to create a pipeline of updates and tools for growth across all partners, including tracking success of such initiatives.
• Work with the partnership team to streamline reporting, and create ongoing efficiencies including through tools like Looker, DOMO, etc.
• Assist with business case opportunity analysis/basic modeling to be presented to decision makers when evaluating partner opportunities.
• Compile data reports for select partners.
• Monitor general quality of content pipeline, drive incident management for any issues that arise and ensure content is being syndicated to partners properly while develop ways to improve this whenever possible.

Who you are
• 1+ years experience working in a data analytics role in social/video, audience development, sales, or related area. Background in a media-related business a plus.
• Adept at analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data into clear and digestible reports.
• Possess advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, Conditional formatting, Data visualization, etc.) with proficiency in other MS Office applications.
• Experience with platform analytics (at least one - YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.).
• Extremely skilled at problem-solving and exceptionally detail oriented.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal , quantitative and time management skills.
• Strong work ethic, quick proactive learner with an ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
