Our team works closely with boutique marketplace retail partners and brands to bring consumers the very best products every season. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the luxury industry and is a creative, analytical, cross-team collaborator.

Responsibilities:
• Curate marketplace retail and experiential partners' assortment on The Tower.
• Develop product assortment and retail merchandising strategies that align with brand visions and support financial targets while leveraging data analytics around category sales, consumer behavior and distinct brand audiences.
• Partners with finance team to prepare financial reporting to ensure targets are being met and assortment is aligned to overall business plan.
• Analyze daily, weekly, monthly selling to build a forecasting model driven by customer behavior and can recommend and implement actions to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Understands sales trends and can communicate their implication to different departments (digital marketing, editorial, vendors etc).
• Interface with multi and mono-brand business leads, merchants, buyers and designers
• Establish deep partnerships with editorial teams, marketplace retailers, designers, artists, musicians and cultural notables creating collaborations, exclusive products and experiential on-line and in-store events
• Partner with the Tower editorial team in curating product for editorial and branded content.
• Reviews and coordinates recommendations regarding promotional strategies put forth by ecommerce, digital marketing and content marketing teams.
• Willing to provide in-person store and brand experiential support as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and retail math skills

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 6-10 years
of experience in luxury and/or contemporary fashion brands, preferably in buying, merchandising, and/or planning
• Strong understanding of buying and merchandising processes and financials in both in brick and mortar retail and e-commerce.
• Proficiency in retail math and the ability to manage profitability, marketplace experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to inform product assortment and/or content strategy, marketing experience a plus.
• A dynamic and flexible manager who is a tactical problem-solver and willing to change strategies as the business needs dictate.
• Experienced in luxury retail, with a strong understanding of consumers and retailers across the country
• Analytics and result oriented with the ability to analyze multiple types of reports (customer behavior, sales, marketing etc) and draw conclusions to drive strategy and sales.
• Strong knowledge and relationships with emerging and established luxury and contemporary brands.
• Experience in Mens, Jewelry, Accessories and Beauty a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management.
• Strong interest in Fashion, Art, Interior Design, Music, Design, Pop Culture
• Elevated and sophisticated taste level.
• Acute understanding of fashion trends and direction
• Strong business acumen
