What you'll do
As Broadcast Maintenance Technician, you will assist with the planning, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of all equipment and infrastructure within a TV and Radio station. This includes, but is not limited to, cameras, servers, computers, transmitters of various purposes, software, audio devices, video storage and playback devices, equipment within remote vehicles, IT and networking, satellite equipment, lighting, and numerous other video and audio industry specific devices. You will also help set up and support live events, such as Preakness and Baltimore Running Festival coverage.

What you'll need
Candidates should be customer service focused, maintain a positive attitude, and possess the ability to effectively communicate and receive communication from a wide range of people. This reciprocal communication must always be done with a respectful and thoughtful approach. A strong ability to learn and understand computer/IT based systems and fully comprehend signal flow. IT knowledge is critical to this role. Prior broadcast experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

Ability to work on tall ladders, lift at least 50 pounds, ability to self-supervise and manage time effectively. Work some evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by projects, events, circumstances and emergencies. In-person attendance is required. Valid driver's license and driving record check required. Real-world experience, educational credentials and/or related military experience will be considered.
