Job Description
The Group Executive Director, Media Services is a strategic role responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our Media Services and Advertising Services teams. This position will collaborate directly with Executive Leadership to develop and execute magazine media strategies, while ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, and client needs are exceeded.

Resonsibilities:

What You'll Do
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership on rate base, frequency strategies, production schedules, and on-sale dates.
• Manage Media Services and Advertising Services teams, providing guidance on contract creation, deal point tracking, magazine layouts, and adherence to make-up guidelines.
• Prepare bi-weekly print pacing reports for senior leadership, proactively communicating updates and potential adjustments. Gather intelligence from sales leaders to inform reports.
• Liaise with Finance and Revenue Operations to optimize print pacing, rate base adjustments, and collaborate on pricing strategies.
• Participate in key meetings with Editorial and General Managers to ensure alignment between book make up and issue health.
• Maintain and update Notion pages with accurate and timely print information for company-wide visibility.
• Continuously reassess positioning and layout processes to streamline operations and meet evolving client needs in collaboration with the sales team.

Qualifications:

Who You Are
• 10+ years of experience in magazine media with demonstrated expertise in finance, positioning, layout, and contract management.
• Proven ability to construct and manage large-scale enterprise media contracts.
• Deep understanding of the print business model (pricing, production, and layout).
• Strong leadership skills and a track record of fostering collaboration across teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to problem-solve quickly and decisively, addressing layout and printing concerns with urgency.

This role requires the position to be located in New York, NY with an in-office presence of 3 days a week.

The base salary for this role is between $184,000 to $221,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
