Your impact:

Are you passionate about food and cooking? Have an eye for making food look beautiful, and love sharing photos of it on social media? Are you interested in creating cooking videos? Do you have professional cooking experience? The Hearst Food Group is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, dynamic food producer with strong cooking, styling, and photo skills and an interest in creating delicious content for the home cook. This is an opportunity to work and learn in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with the team that produces recipes and content for Good Housekeeping, Woman's Day, Women's Health, Prevention, and Country Living, as well as other Hearst titles. What you'll do:
• Research and pitch recipes and food stories
• Develop and test recipes
• Write and edit recipes
• Produce digital food shoots
• Style food
• Create cooking videos
• Produce food-related social media content and corresponding assets (recipe, image, text)
• Appear on-air as needed, demonstrating recipes solo or with other talent

Who you are:
• You have 4 to 5 years of post-grad experience helping to create food content or working professionally with food; relevant experience in a consumer magazine setting or brand is a major plus
• You are passionate about food, and have built your own food following or have experience in a professional kitchen
• Experience testing and developing recipes, especially in a test kitchen setting or restaurant
• Experience with styling food for photography and with creating compelling photography for food-related social media
• Experience with creating food-related videos
• Able to shift gears quickly in a daily web/print publishing environment, and pitch in on whatever needs to get done
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Bachelor's degree is highly desirable
