Your impact:

The Hearst Luxury Collection (HLC) is looking for a Travel Director who will have direct oversight on all travel and hospitality accounts in New York City and the surrounding territory. The Travel Director will work closely with the Executive Director and CRO, SVP to craft the travel story for HLC to grow revenue in the category across all brands in the portfolio.

What you'll do:
• Work with marketing and research to develop the travel category story for the group
• Secure key meetings within the travel and hospitality category, both client direct and agency
• Develop and maintain senior level client relationships
• Achieve sales revenue goals leveraging print, digital, social and experiential opportunities
• Work collaboratively with the Hearst Corporate and Studio teams as well as other departments within the organization
• Identify editorial needs for the category in order to achieve the aforementioned sales goals
• Work with marketing to consistently develop new concepts and franchises for the category
• Provide ongoing briefings to the CRO, SVP and the Executive Director of HLC, including areas of opportunity, revenue progress, and needs to continue to move the category forward
• Represent HLC as needed on sales calls, entertaining opportunities, and at advertiser/industry events

Who you are:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling media in the travel category
• Adept at selling and managing campaigns across print, digital, social and experiential
• Deep knowledge of the travel category key decision makers, both at the client and agency level
