Your impact:

The Hearst Magazines editorial recruiting team is looking for an editorial talent attraction coordinator to help evaluate and screen potential candidates to fill vacant positions. This position will aid the recruiters as they search for top, best-fit candidates for openings across the Hearst Magazines brands. The ideal candidate is highly organized and motivated and has a nuanced understanding of the various skills-from editing to designing to fact-checking and more-required in the range of jobs that fall under the editorial umbrella, as well as what it takes to excel in them.

What you'll do:
• Work with the editorial recruiters to research and identify qualified candidates to pipeline for both current and future openings
• Help monitor applications for current editorial openings
• Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and/or recruiters
• Stay on top of industry news to identify top talent to pipeline for future openings
• Create job postings when needed
• Pull together reports to track current openings
• Support the editorial recruiters on special projects when needed

Who you are:
• You have some experience working on a consumer magazine or similar website
• You understand the range of roles across a magazine or website and the skills and talent needed to succeed in them
• You are detail-oriented and organized, know how to track down information, and are curious about and engaged with people
• You possess outstanding communication skills
• You know how to navigate LinkedIn, Excel, and a variety of other similar sites and software; familiarity with Oracle/ORC is a definite plus
• You have a bachelor's degree in journalism or another related field
