Your Impact:

Delish is searching for a Deputy Art Director to join our award-winning team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the visual integrity of the brand on-site, in video, social and print. The Deputy Art Director will report to the Creative Director and work closely with the art and photo teams to create a cohesive brand POV. A strong editorial / storytelling background in digital and print, plus experience overseeing photo shoots is required. An insane love of all things food is an ultimate plus.

What You'll Do:
• Create assets for video series, including thumbnails and any featured graphics
• Design layouts for Delish quarterly issues, cookbooks and other print materials
• Art direct and oversee photo shoots
• Design feature stories and assets for digital packages, newsletters, sub programs, etc
• Contribute design ideas for all social media platforms
• Ideate and create merchandise for Delish's print-on-demand store
• Create and maintain a strong visual brand POV

Who You Are:
• Bachelor of arts in graphic design or similar degree
• At least 5 years digital and print design experience
• A strong storytelling design aesthetic, supported by a robust portfolio
• Advanced knowledge of social media channels as well as digital best practices
• Working knowledge of online CMS programs
• Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop; good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; critical thinker
• Organized and self-motivated
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish, collaborating with necessary team members
• Illustration, photo retouching, UX/UI and/or animation skills are a plus
