Job Description
As Category Lead, Beauty you will be responsible as Hearst's resident expert in your assigned collection of accounts, all operating within the Beauty business sector. You'll supervise a group of salespeople, also dedicated to working working within the same industry to better understand what works (and why) for advertisers looking to leverage the trust Hearst's readers put in our brands. You'll work in a ''pod'' of related categories that include Wellness and Mass Retail, where best practices can be shared across segments. The pod is comprised of salespeople, account and content strategists, campaign developers, client service managers and more. All Pod members work in the shared goal of growing Hearst's share of digital ad spend from clients, while delivering exceptional results to our customers that exceed their performance expectation.
Qualifications:
• 10-15 years of sales experience, 5 years of management
• Proven track record of leading sales teams
• Strong collaborator
• Ability to provide to deliver results on key business drivers
• Customer centric, focusing on what will deliver the strongest performance for the client
• Effective leader who listens to perspective of peers and colleagues and adapt approach
• Adaptable and flexible
• Strong Communicator
The base salary for this role is between $184,000 and $250,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
