Hearst's Travel/Tech/Finance/Outdoor Team covering a group of industry sectors seeks an Associate Manager of Marketing & Account Strategy. The Associate Manager will be the quarterback to the pre-sale process, guiding the work of a cross-disciplinary team of salespeople, campaign strategists, content studio professionals and others. Focusing around a group of Finance, Performance and Programmatic advertisers, the Associate Manager will help to build programs that allow for Hearst Magazines to grow revenue and margins, while delivering powerful results for our clients. This work will include coordinating efforts between branded content editors, pricing teams, audience and insight experts and others, coordinating the collective efforts to pull together a proposal that reflects alignment of all parties while delivering on the client's KPI's. The Associate Manager will be responsible for the strategy and development of integrated marketing partnerships and programs for the TTFO Industry Team and the Programmatic team that set Hearst apart in our competitive set. The Associate Manager will also work with salespeople to identify prospects that can be approached proactively with compelling ideas that can preempt the RFP process.
Qualifications:
• Experience in both the strategic and executional aspects of branding and communications, and have proven experience successfully delivering integrated programs within a fast-paced, environment.
• Analytic, problem-solving, resourceful and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in developing compelling integrated marketing programs; strong copywriting skills
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-changing environment and juggling multiple priorities, and ability to operate in a team culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to influence and to present to senior executives, internally and externally
• Positive, ''can-do'' attitude
• Tenacity, passion and drive for results
• An understanding of/interest in the editorial products and the youth and wellness industries are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Keynote
• BA or BS, 2+ years of related experience
The base salary for this role is between $58,500. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
