Your impact:

The Hearst Data Solutions team is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with an eagerness to learn, to serve as Associate Manager, Data Solutions. The Hearst Data Solutions team is responsible for data strategy, innovation, and application, with a focus on developing market-leading capabilities and ad products that deliver superior advertiser and consumer experiences.

In this role, the Associate Manager, Data Solutions will work closely with the Hearst Data Solutions team and will partner with the Activation, Insights and Media Success team, as well as various teams within our organization to support the sales, marketing, and activation processes. This role will contribute to materials for presentations, client deliverables and internal resources. In addition, the role will require technical proficiency with systems like a DMP, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, etc., as the ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert within the organization, for internal questions pertaining to Hearst's data offering and ad products.

To be successful, the Associate Manager, Data Solutions must have a desire to leverage their technical, marketing, and analytical skills to develop and monetize solutions that aid in building more strategic data partnerships and drive revenue based on Hearst's unique data offering and extensive capabilities as a premium publisher.

What you'll do:
• Understand the customer need and support internal teams in establishing Hearst's product and data capabilities as the best solution to solve the customer's challenges
• Partner with peers in the Data Solutions and Media Success organizations to address strategic business needs and support pre- and post-sale processes
• Derive and articulate insights from large data sets that will drive media recommendations
• Participate in all appropriate product, sales, procedural training, and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position

Who you are:
• 1-2+ years of digital media experience with a focus on data or digital advertising – data driven thinking, excellent quantitative skills
• Solid oral, written, presentation, analytical and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Excel as well as presentation software such as, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
• Knowledge of related applications, including data management platforms (DMPs), ad servers and platforms (Google Ad Manager, Facebook, etc.)
• Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical challenges
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and with a proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines
