Food Network Magazine, HGTV Magazine and The Pioneer Woman Magazine seek an intelligent, creative and entrepreneurial team player to join our marketing team as an Integrated Marketing Art Director. This is a unique opportunity to work on trendsetting brands that established new cultural touchpoints in food and home lifestyle media. All three magazines are part of superpower brands with 360 multiplatform capabilities. Since launch (2008 Food Network Magazine; 2011 HGTV Magazine; 2018 The Pioneer Woman Magazine), they've grown to lead their categories in all key areas with a combined readership of nearly 30 million and year-over-year top 10 newsstand sales.
Our Creative Team produces engaging, high-quality assets in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Projects range from art directing photo shoots to concepting and executing marketing campaigns to overseeing our graphic designers. You'll be responsible for ensuring all creative is visually ''on-brand'' across all our marketing channels. You'll report to the Creative Director and work closely with a talented team of marketers in addition to working directly with our advertising clients. This is an opportunity to work with a collaborative team that values innovation and creativity, while having fun!

Responsibilities Include:
• Maintain consistent look and feel across all in-house branded communications
• Work with the Creative Director to transform concepts into visual executions that articulate the advertisers' brand and deliver on business needs
• Design an array of print assets including campaign concepts, emails, event collateral, print mailers, and other marketing/sales materials.
• Own projects from kickoff through completion, presenting your work to the Creative Director and Marketing stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into thoughtful final assets
• Contribute to small scale photo shoots in partnership with Creative Director
• Provide creative oversight on video and social media executions
• Be a design leader, providing guidance and feedback to junior designers
• Ensure that all projects are delivered in our distinct brand voice and in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date on design trends and techniques, new technologies and social, etc.

Requirements:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Have 4-7 years of graphic design experience in marketing
• Have art direction and photoshoot experience
• Exceptional type and layout skills with production knowledge
• Strong conceptual thinker with a print and digital background
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and Keynote (knowledge of Web design and motion graphics a plus)
• Strong communicator and able to prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical timelines
• Passionate about branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns
• Able to own a project from start to finish, working autonomously, but welcoming feedback and collaboration
• Adept at studio skills-creating physical comps, mockups and short-run printed materials
• Can back-up your experience with a strong portfolio
