Your New Role...

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to join the team driving our AI/ML driven Personalization effort. You will launch new ML-optimized features and experiences like new rails/carousels/trays on HBOMax and discovery+, page structure, navigation elements, marketing messages, and much more. Your efforts will help us scale to >100m customers and be a worldwide top 3 streaming company. You will identify and quantify customer problems, approaches to address them, and A/B test different features to solve them. You will solve complex problems like how to balance human generated and ML-driven content, how to bring together movies, shows, sports and news into a seamless experience. Through this, you will help build a flexible ML / Personalization platform.

You will be part of a team of Product Managers focused on Personalization, working closely with Software Engineers and Data Scientists. The team has a diverse range of skill-sets / experience in ML / Recommenders / related fields across streaming media, e-commerce and other hi-tech problem spaces and hails from top-flight tech firms. You will partner with Editorial / Marketing professionals and discuss your efforts regularly with company executives.

Your Role Accountabilities...

The ideal candidate will have worked on personalization / recommendations / similar ML-based capabilities / features reaching millions of customers. You have an engineering / applied science background AND/OR have worked hand in hand with data scientists on such problems. You are a self-starter, and a good written and verbal communicator with peers and stakeholders. You make decisions rooted in data, are fluent in a/b experimentation and have instincts for finding insights.

You are a proven contributor to your team's strategy, adept at connecting it to business goals and partner strategies. You are a fluent communicator of strategy and direction to partners and stakeholders. You have experience with program operating rhythms and mechanisms in tech organizations. You are a collaborator that makes your team and partners more productive by sharing your area knowledge.

As a key contributor for the Personalization at WBD, you will:
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business and customer needs, and translate that into feature requirements, KPIs.
• Help establish organization goals / OKR, and drive delivery towards them with project timelines, managing commitments and risks.
• Operate well in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge, drill into business data and research results to identify clear direction and focus.
• Test and launch innovative capabilities and features that drive satisfaction and retention with Discovery and HBO customers.
• Bring analytic and data-driven rigor to decision making when launching features, running a/b experiments, and analyzing customer behavior.

Qualifications & Experience...
• At least 5 years of experience across Engineering / Product Management for a technology / software product, with day to day understanding of the technologies involved.
• At least 2 years of experience in Product Management.
• 2+ years as a Software Engineer or Applied / Data Scientist highly preferred.
• Noteworthy verbal and written communication skills targeting partners and stakeholders, including with docs like PRFAQs and requirements.
• Experience building products with microservices architectures, best of breed ML / cloud platforms.
• A technical degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $105,000.00 - $195,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
