Job Description
As Specialist Live Merchandiser, you'll be a part of the Global Live Merchandising Team, responsible for connecting our Latin American fans to their favorite Live content (predominately sports) on HBO Max. This role will report to the Manager of Live Merchandising, Latam.
Working closely with partners across Global Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Design, Sports, Entertainment and Product teams, you'll play a key role in the development, implementation and tracking of our varied live entertainment and sports offering. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day curation and placement of our content within HBO Max and analyzing data to build upon the existing strategy and drive further engagement.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day merchandising operations for live experiences (primarily sports) on HBO Max, while overseeing daily and monthly merchandising strategies to maximize viewership and engagement.
• Analyse data, reports and dashboards to draw learnings and apply these to future merchandising experiences, iterating and optimizing the experience to meet the needs of both the customer and the business.
• Provide strategy insights and partner with cross-functional teams to inform and communicate strategy for each sporting or live event.
• Prepare reports on sports performance and insights across Spanish speaking regions. Utilize data for continuous editorial improvements and effectively communicate the process or results of your analysis cross-functionally.
• Manage, operate and influence workflows and tooling to make sure all content types and assets are published to the platform with consistent and accurate metadata, design and editorial curation.
• Partner closely with Operational and Marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of strategy and execution across all devices and regions and ensure stakeholders are informed and up to date on sports strategy.
• Close cooperation with Creative teams across sports and marketing to ensure creative alignment, execution and sourcing.
• Close cooperation with the Sports Strategy team to ensure appropriate visibility in upcoming content launches and departures. Work closely with Operational teams to ensure availability of all media assets for Merchandising purposes.
• Attentive to industry news and possess ability to quickly pivot strategy as needed.
Qualifications & Experiences
• Passion for sports.
• Strong knowledge of Argentina & Chile local leagues (Primera Division, Primera Nacional, Primera Division & Primera B).
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in Sports or related field.
• Process oriented individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously to under a broader editorial strategy.
• Strong understanding of the Latin American market, SVOD, and direct to consumer.
• Relentless pursuit of operational and work-flow efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation skills and proven ability to work across regions and varying time zones.
• Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities
• Fluent written and spoken English.
